I’ve been attending this school for three going on four years, this school is full of different personalities, different experiences, and different life styles but although there are different things the faculty still works to make us feel safe and welcome. Although we don’t have the best track record administrators still work hard to help as many students as possible to have the best future possible and i’m so grateful to be a dub c lion.

As an International Bachelorette West Charlotte Senior, I have had the privilege to receive a well rounded education with the overwhelming amount of resources available. I take pride in one day becoming a West Charlotte alumni, as the majority of the students from minority backgrounds which cause for relationships within each student being able to relate with one another. I have been able to create great relationships with my peers and teachers considering them second family. Although there are struggles that each high school endures, the administrators take full commitment into creating change in hopes courageous West Charlotte alumni’s.

The favorite part of my experience was the understanding on their students economic standing and provided good alternatives and volunteer experience. The worst part was not feeling apart of the community due to being a senior as my first year and only knowing the new school building, so I couldn’t relate to the other peers of my level because I didn’t have the same school experience. The only thing I would change would be the bathrooms, but their uncleanliness was due to the students than the school itself, so it can’t entirely be changed.
