Warlocks are seekers of knowledge that lies hidden beneath the veil. Making pacts with mysterious beings of supernatural powers, Warlocks unlock magical effects both subtle and spectacular.
Where Wizards draw their magical power from study and Sorcerers from magical bloodlines, Warlocks gain power through a pact with a powerful patron: a fiend, perhaps, or some other powerful entity. The nature of a warlock's powers varies depending on the nature of the patron and the details of the pact.
Warlock class was introduced in the Inner Strength DLC.

Level 2
- Eldritch Invocations ➜ You gain two Eldritch Invocations of your choice. You gain one additional invocation at the 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th level and you can change one Eldritch Invocation each time you gain a level.
Level 3
- Pact Boon ➜ You gain one of the following features of your choice:
- Pact of the Chain ➜ As a bonus action, you can bind yourself to one of four creatures for one minute. This ability is regained on a long rest.
- Imp ➜ Grants Darkvision and resistance to fire and poison.
- Pseudodragon ➜ Grants advantage on all saving throws against spells and magical effects.
- Quasit ➜ Grants resistance to all non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- Sprite ➜ Grants +2 cell movement spell and immunity to opportunity attacks.
- Pact of the Blade ➜ Weapons wielded by the Warlock count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical weapon attacks. Also grants proficiency with martial weapons.
- Pact of the Tome ➜ You can choose three additional cantrips from any the spell list of any class. It also unlocks an invocation that grants two spells with the ritual tag. (e.g. Detect Magic, Identify)
- Pact of the Chain ➜ As a bonus action, you can bind yourself to one of four creatures for one minute. This ability is regained on a long rest.

The Fiend[]
You have made a pact with a fiend from the lower planes of existence, a being whose aims are evil, even if you strive against those aims.

Level 1
- Dark One's Blessing ➜ Whenever you reduce a hostile creature to 0 HP, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your Warlock level (minimum of 1).
Level 6
- Dark One's Own Luck ➜ For the next minute add 1d10 to all ability checks and saving throws. You regain this ability after a long rest.
Level 10
- Fiendish Resilience ➜ You gain resistance to non-magical non-silver damage of a type of your choosing which lasts until you choose a different type with this feature. You can change the damage type when you finish a short or long rest.
Level 14
- Hurl through Hell ➜ When you hit a creature with an attack, you can banish it until the end of your next turn. The creature suffers 10d10 psychic damage upon returning. Once this power has been used, it can't be used again until you've completed a long rest.
The Hive[]
You have made a pact with the Hive, a mysterious entity which scholars have theorized to be in control of Redeemers all over Solasta.

- Weakening Pheromones ➜ Each turn, the first creature you damage with a spell will have disadvantage on their next saving throw. This condition expires on its own after 1 minute.
Level 6
- Magic Counter ➜ You can Counterspell once per short rest for free. You add your proficiency bonus when countering spells 4th level or higher.
Level 10
- Reactive Carapace ➜ Whenever you take damage from a spell or magical effect, you can use your reaction to temporarily gain 1d8 + Charisma modifer in temporary HP until the start of your next turn.
Level 14
- Antimagic Chitin ➜ You have advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects.
The Timekeeper[]
Timekeepers are strange and mysterious entities who exist beyond the fabric of time and space. And you have made a pact with one, allowing you to make small adjustments in the endless flow of the river of time, as unnatural as it may sound.

Level 1
- Curse of Time ➜ Whenever you damage an opponent with a spell, they become afflicted with the Curse of Time. Enemies under the Curse of Time take half your proficiency bonus (rounded up) force damage at the start of their turn for the next minute.
Level 6
- Time Shift ➜ After you take damage, you can use your reaction to project your body foreward a few seconds. You briefly disappear in a time rift and negate any damage and its effects. You are considered banished until the start of your next turn. After you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you complete a long rest.
Level 10
- Accelerate ➜ You can use a bonus action to briefly accelerate an ally other than yourself within 6 cells. They gain the effect of Haste until the start of your next turn; however, they do not suffer from lethargy when Accelerate ends. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Level 14
- Time Warp ➜ You can activate Time Warp to take an additional action on top of your regular action. You can use Time Warp once per long rest.
The Tree (Lost Valley DLC)[]
Those who have braved the marshes of the Lost Valley know that some trees are better left alone. Unlike Druids who commune with nature, Tree Warlock's blessings are viewed by many as a curse.

- Piercing Branches ➜ Whenever an enemy damages you with a melee attack, they take 1d4 piercing damage.

- Blessing of the Tree ➜ Grants immunity to a poisoned condition and resistance to poison and necrotic damage.
Level 10
- Explosive Growth ➜ Once per short rest, you can inflict 1d4 per level piercing damage on all the creatures surrounding you, shoving and restraining them on a failed Dexterity saving throw.
Level 14
- One with the Tree ➜ You gain +2 bonus to AC and are always considered under half-cover against ranged attacks. Your Piercing Branches now deal an additional 1d6 poison damage whenever they trigger.
Eldritch Invocations[]
There are 22 Eldritch Invocations available in Solasta.
Level 2
- Agonizing Blast ➜ When you cast Eldritch Blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage (prerequisite: Eldritch Blast cantrip).
- Armor of Shadows ➜ You can cast Mage Armor on yourself at will, without expending a spell slot or any components.
- Beguiling Influence ➜ You gain proficiency in Deception and Persuasion skills. If you are already proficient, gain expertise instead.
- Devil's Sight ➜ You gain Blindsight up to 16 cells, allowing you to see invisible enemies and through magical darkness.
- Eldritch Sight ➜ You can cast Detect Magic at will, without expending a spell slot or any components..
- Eldritch Spear ➜ When you cast Eldritch Blast you ignore any cover on the targets (prerequisite: Eldritch Blast cantrip).
- Eyes of the Rune Keeper ➜ You understand all languages and can read all writings.
- Fiendish Vigor ➜ You can cast False Life on yourself at will, without expending a spell slot or any components.
- Repelling Blast ➜ When you hit a creature with Eldritch Blast, they are pushed 2 cells away from you in a straight line (prerequisite: Eldritch Blast cantrip).
- Thief of Five Fates ➜ You can cast Bane once per long rest using a spell slot.

- One with Shadows ➜ If you are unlit or in dim light, you can use your Action to become Invisible until you move or take any action or reaction (prerequisite: 5th level).
- Sign of Ill Omen ➜ You can cast Bestow Curse once per long rest using a spell slot (prerequisite: 5th level).
- Thirsting Blade ➜ You can attack one more time, per combat turn, when you use the attack action (prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Blade).
Level 7
- Bewitching Whispers ➜ You can cast Dreadful Omen, without using components, once per long rest using a spell slot (prerequisite: 7th level).
- Dreadful Word ➜ You can cast Confusion once per long rest using a spell slot (prerequisite: 7th level).
Level 9
- Ascendant Step ➜ You can cast Levitate on yourself at will, , without expending a spell slot or any components. (prerequisite: Warlock level 9).

Warlock Spells[]
With Pact Magic, Warlocks know a few spells and only have a few spell slots. However, they regain their spells on a short rest instead of a long rest, and all of their spells are automatically upcast to the highest level they can cast.
