Ranking Frostdraw Mantras | Fandom (2024)

Combat

• Ice Spikes: D~A

Personally, I have never used this Mantra before. However, SUPPOSEDLY this combined with Spike Traps is cancer because you can't see the spike trap. Though the wiki says that there is a light blue area which highlights the trap, so I don't know.

• Ice Beam: A-

Pretty good Mantra, I use it sometimes in earlygame. Apparently some people still use it on Mage builds endgame, but I don't know how they do it. Still, pretty good damage and if you have Crystal it applies a ton of crystals. Also, Preceding Chill is pretty good.

• Frost Grab: B+

Good damage but the windup is way too big. Some people have the windup of their Frost Grab be really small but I don't know how to do that. However if you do have a small windup Frost Grab then this is easily the best grab in damage. Not that great for mixups unlike Jolt or Flame Grab but best for combos.

• Warden's Blades: D

Ass mantra. Just spam F and you hard counter this. So bad.

• Frozen Servants: D

For some reason, Burning Servants is so much better than this even tough Frozen Servants does the same thing. Except somehow, it's so much worse. Mid.

• Ice Daggers (★): A+

Although it is kind of rare, Ice Daggers is a great Mantra. Great for catching runners, and pretty decent damage if you're running Crystal. Also auto-tracks, and although not great for mixups it definitely exists as an option. Frozen Pin-Cuishon only makes it even better.

• Ice Blade (★): D-

Yeah, mid. It was good for the first 1-2 weeks during release then fell off. Don't pick this up.

• Ice Chain (★): B-

Decently good Mantra IF you can manage to land it. I can't, so I haven't utilized it's full potential. Definitely usable, but would I go out of my way to pick it? No.

• Ice Forge (★): A

Deals a sh*t ton of damage, heals a sh*t ton, and overall just a great Mantra. If you have Crystal, then expect this to DESTROY people's healthbars. However, it's windup is kind of slow so you have to add some Drift Shards to make it good.

• Ice Eruption (★): A+

Although it's heavily telegraphed, if you DO land Ice Eruption your opponent is essentially dead since it freezes everything. The ideal Gem for this would be a Blessed Gem so you can continously spam this.

• Ice Smash (★): A-

Before the update that made this guardbreak, Ice Smash was dogsh*t. However, since it guardbreaks now it's instantly one of the better Frostdraw Mantras. Deals great damage and you can followup with a second attack.

• Ice Lance (★★): S

Probably the best Frostdraw Mantra you can get. An absolute must-have on every single Frostdraw build. Insane damage, insane mixup potential, and Shatter Spear makes it even better. Do NOT skip out on this!

• Ice Lasers (★★): C+

Can't speak from experience cause I never use this Mantra, butttttt it's pretty mid from what I've heard. Barely no damage.

• Crystal Impale (★★): A+

Great Mantra. Even though it has endlag if you whiff it now, it still destroys block and deals some nice damage along with huge crystal buildup. Also, if you feint this it's mixup potential is like top tier.

• Crystal Knee (★★): C-

Pretty bad Mantra, since it deals essentially no damage and knocks people out of your combo.

• Ice Fissure (★★★): ?

Never used this, and nobody has ever used this.

Mobility

• Glacial Arc (★): A-

Great mobility cause you can essentially climb anything you want. You can even make an infinite bridge in the sky if you want to. Before the big nerfs, this Mantra used to destroy in Chime.

• Ice Skates (★★★): A

Good for chasing up to runners who escape into the water. Frozone just makes it even better. Kind of ether hungry though.

Support

• Iceberg (★★★): S

REALLY GOOD Mantra. I forgot which Mantra Modifier it was, but with a couple of those this heals a LOT.
