Girl Scouts of USA announced the start of its annual Girl Scout cookie season earlier this week, but your favorite cookie might have been taken off this year’s lineup.
The 2024 Girl Scout cookie season will kick off this weekend on Jan. 13 at an annual event, during which Girl Scouts launch their careers as cookie-selling entrepreneurs.
While the annual season marks the return of classic favorites such as Thin Mints, Samoas (which some regions call Caramel deLites) and Tagalongs, fans of the Raspberry Rally will be sad to know the cookie has been discontinued.
Girl Scouts told CNN in October 2023 that it was discontinuing the cookie after its debut sparked a frenzy, and resellers posted boxes online for up to six times the $5 price tag.
“While Raspberry Rally was extremely popular last year, we are taking a pause this season to prioritize supplying our classic varieties,” the Girl Scouts of the USA said in a statement to the outlet.
The Raspberry Rally was the first Girl Scout cookie ever sold exclusively online. Described as a “thin, crispy cookie,” it was dipped in the same chocolaty coating as the Thin Mint, read a press release.
“Last year, we were so excited to introduce Raspberry Rally cookies as part of our pilot online sales strategy, however, to mitigate potential supply challenges and to simplify the program for our girls and volunteers, Raspberry Rally cookies will not be available for the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season,” Stacy Wilbur, the senior director of external relations for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, confirmed with MassLive Thursday evening.

- Girl Scout S’mores: Crunch graham sandwich cookies with chocolate and marshmallow filling
- Caramel deLites/Samoas: Crisp cookies with caramel, coconut and chocolaty stripes
- Thin Mints: Crisp, chocolate cookies dipped in a mint chocolaty coating
- Do-si-dos/Peanut Butter Sandwich: Crunchy oatmeal sandwich cookies with peanut butter filling
- Toast-Yay!: Toast-shaped cookies full of French toast flavor and dipped in icing
- Trefoils: Shortbread cookies inspired by the original Girl Scout cookie recipe
- Caramel Chocolate Chip: Chewy cookies with rich caramel, semisweet chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt
- Lemonades: Shortbread cookies topped with a tangy lemon-flavored icing
- Lemon-Ups: Crispy lemon cookies baked with “inspiring messages”
- Peanut Butter Patties/Tagalongs: Crispy cookies layered with peanut butter and covered with a chocolaty coating
- Toffee-tastic: Rich, buttery cookies with sweet, crunchy toffee bits
- Adventurefuls: Brownie-inspired cookies topped with caramel flavored crème with a hint of sea salt
How to purchase Girl Scout cookies in 2024

- Starting Feb. 16, customers will be able to purchase cookies to be shipped directly to their homes by entering their zip code into the Girl Scout Cookie Finder.

Through the program, Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards, including Cookie Business badges, Financial Literacy badges, Cookie Entrepreneur Family pins and Entrepreneur badges.
All proceeds from cookie sales benefit local Girl Scout troops. Youth can join and adults can become a volunteer by going online.
