im 27 Weeks and 4 days...my boy is get so big in there. but i worry if im squishing him while im sleep. i only lay on my right or left...never on back and of course not on stomach...but even layn on my sides feels like there might be adding presure on the baby...sometimes when i lay on my right he starts to kick so i turn to my left....i generally rest in the right side of my stomach but i just wanna kno if anybody else feels like sleepn on her side is causing presure?

@AsauntesMom711,
Im 24 weeks and 5 days and i sleep like that every night! Im pretty sure you can't squish the baby. When do i feel pressure i just fold a pillow and put it under my side like a wedge and it usually goes away :-)

@AsauntesMom711,
I really don't think your body will "allow" you to squish baby. If you're sleeping on your side, you're doing what OBs will recommend anyway. If you're uncomfortable from the pressure you could try propping your tummy up with a pillow too. I have a body pillow I sometimes hug on my sides and put between my legs (feels good on the hips). I wouldn't worry, baby is snug as a bug. Hope you're able to rest!

@AsauntesMom711,
I wonder this all day, sitting, laying, intercourse, whatever. I freak myself out cuz I'll think he's happy when he's kicking & stuff but then I'm like, what if he's kicking cuz he's squashed?? Then I tell myself to shut up ;)

@AsauntesMom711,
Babies r us have the full pillows. That's the only place I've seen them. Or you could do a google search and get it online.

@AsauntesMom711,
I must be horrible cause I lay on my belly (slightly propped up on one side) and on my back the most. I just can't help it! I go to sleep with my maternity pillow wrapped around and a pillow under my belly on the other side and I wake up flat on my back or on my stomach... if you are on your side you certainly have nothing to worry about. There is so much cushion in there it really doubt its even possible!

@AsauntesMom711,
I wish I could lay on my stomach but baby doesnt let me plus bump is way too big. you cant smash baby they have plenty of cushion in there. I lay on my back mostly with my legs propped up bc Im swelling so bad but once im asleep im usually on whatever side baby lets me on. the pillow slightly under belly helps a lot too.
